Hi listers, I recently came across a 20x cd-rom for the Powerbook 3400c/Kanga that did not work. Nothing I did subsequent could make it work, either...
Could I use the 20x CD-rom from a Wallstreet Powerbook (swapping the plastic carriers, of course) in my 3400c? For that matter, could some other "naked" cd-rom that can be installed into the 3400c's carrier, like the 24x cd-rom from a Lombard/Pismo, or maybe even a CD-R(!), be used in the 3400c and/or Kanga too? (I'll table the DVD/DVD-R question for a later time...!) :-D Thanks, Craig W. -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
