I have acquired a 5300 which has shown up a problem.
On start up I hear and ordinary chime and there is lots of disc activity.
However, the screen merely goes from being off (black) to a vaguely golden colour. I think from the fact that pressing the power button and enter turns it off that the system is OK.
I have tried the brightness and contrast buttons!
Any suggestions?
