You are supposed to reply to them and they go away. That's the theory anyhow. AFAIK 
they are generated from failed attemots to deliver list mail to your mailbox, but also 
do seem to crop up at random sometimes. As for why some people get flooded with them I 
don't understand. Best bet is to re-direct them to the Trash :)
