AFAIK, there's nowhere you can buy New 'new' batteries for the 500 series. 'Neew' ones are old new stock, meaning they've been sitting on shelved for years.


However, I believe this place <http://nicdlady.com/laptop-a.htm> sells rebuilt batteries.

The best solution is to re-cell existing ones. The NiCad Lady, above, also sells cells. I don't know if she sells them by the sea shore. Here is a howto:
