I used my 3400c/180 many times with an Eiki digital projector in an
auditorum setting.  Also used it with Sanyo and Panasonic projectors (and
probably other brands, but I don't remember any others, specifically).  As
long as you have the digital projector connected to the monitor port on the
3400 and are running the video mirroring control strip module, it's just a
matter of (as Microsoft would say it), "plug and play."  Just turn on video
mirroring and voila! you have video on both the projector and the 3400 LCD
panel.

Hint: If the Monitors dialog shows only one monitor, turn "off" the
projector and the 3400, then (1) turn the projector back on and (2) power on
the 3400 (in that order).  The 3400 should find the projector as another
monitor; remember to turn on video mirroring.
