What version of Quicktime? On my 1400 just now, both the Connectix 2.1.2 and the Logitech 2.1.3, QuickPict erros at run with "application unexpededly quit- it needs to be updated to work with new features of the operating system" (paraphrased, not exact wording). QuickMovie just locks up.
What version of Quicktime are you running? I have the latest that will run on the 1400/9.1.
Thanks,
