Superb. Tsf speed only limited by the 3400 internal
modem. I will try a PC Card 56k on Monday. Maybe that
will free up the serial port (the webcam SW I have
been using tend to default to the wrong port). (The
other 'puter is a 9500 with a G3 card and a 56k
external USR modem.)
As for the 3400, I'm also curious if using a lower OS
version and/or an earler Timbuktu version will be
worthwhile. Those fancy webcam SW (evocam, oculus)
take too much out of the poor 3400. I might have no
choice, but 9.1 seems faster than 8.6. A limiting
factor is the very slow 160 Meg HDD.
