Please�disassemble carefully.

�We will replace the backlight in your LCD with a new
CCFL (extremely delicate operation!) Remove LCD
tentatively SEE> images, as finger pressure against
the edges [normally top and back right]�will affect
heat bonded electrical connections to glass and PCB
drivers.
Send only the LCD to us we will�repair it for�see

refit + test,�[if unable to dismantle�bezel send only
the laptop]. For return freight�you can pre pay or add
$15 - $35 extra for LCD monitors, helps with
disassembly and extra weight�of return ship.

Include a Check made payable to Robert Mowe (owner) it
is faster for returns. if you send money orders or
bank issued checks (out of state personal checks take
5 days to clear). Credit cards: we only accept
swiped-signed cards. We do not accept credit cards

If you are not certain the backlight is the fault, it
may be no AC HV from->�(another cause can be
INVERTER�and some�laptops stop sending bright on
signal to the inverter from the System�board) in this
case�send the laptop only, Please DO NOT send�battery
or ac adapter (unless the laptop has an unusual plug -
none cylindrical).�Floppy,�CD-ROM and HD are not
needed. Also DC volts are present in laptops so take
the batteries OUT before part extractions.

If the LCD is a Hitachi TX__D__ <- normally in VAIOs
or Hyundai�panel we charge $99 for the refit if larger
than 15.1" see www.lcdrepair.net for current prices.
Smaller 12" Vaio,s $125. G4 PowerBook's $160,<- do not
attempt you might damage your LCD.
