I recently bought a 5300ce/117 with OS 8.1, apparently upgraded from OS 7.xx. The user's manual makes reference to Floppy Disk Maker which is no longer on this PB and which I cannot find anywhere. Do I really need it? If so, does anyone know where I can find a copy?
Thanks,
Larry

I think that utility was packaged with 7.5.2, the original OS the 5300 shipped with.
The 5300 didn't ship with OS installation disks, you were supposed to make them yourself in case you needed to reinstall.
Like someone else said, you might find Floppy Disk Maker on Apple's website, but Apple Backup or a backup utility like Retrospect will do the job.
