Hello all I just got a 1400 powerbook with a G3 upgrade (so it's only 1/2 removed from being off topic). <snip> System profiler shows: "Processor info: PowerPC G3" "Machine Speed :33 MHz" I'm guessing that the bus speed is 33 MHz since I don't recall there being a 33 MHz G3. Does this sound plausible? Are there any other things I should look out for on this model?

What kind of G3? I had a couple of Sonnet cards, 333 and 466, and ASP only reported them at 67 mhz. According to Sonnet, only their software sees the card speed properly. At least that's what they told me when I had a bad one.
