I also bid on two other little Powerbooks, a 150 and a 190. I have arthritis and can 
no longer sit in my computer chair - thus the Powerbooks.  I won all three.  The thing 
that is wrong with the 190 is the power supply cable.  The female end is lose, and the 
190 works fine when you push the power supply cord to the right or to the left, and 
the machine works great. Let loose, the PB shuts off.  Looking closely at the female 
end that goes into the PB, that little silver bit, is loose and wabbles. Now, if I 
have to, I will cut off the surrounding rubbery stuff and actually solder that joint 
down solidly, ... unless I can find another powerbook 190 power cord.
