I have a friend who has a 1400cs. He has a Noteworthy PCMCIA Type II FAX-Modem made by Toshiba.
Will this PC Card FAX-Modem work with his PowerBook? Does he need a driver or script to make it work?
He shouldn't need a driver but will need a script. You could likely use one of the generic Hayes scripts.
He is also getting a PC Card Ethernet one, will this work with his 1400cs?
I think it is a Netgear PC Card.
Probably not. For this you definitely need a driver. The best bet though is to check the manufacturer's website for a Mac driver.
