I posted almost the same question on the iMac list a month or so ago. I downloaded probably every conceivable browser for my machine (iMac G3 running OS 9.2.2). After a considerable amount of trial and error I found the best browser that works the best with Ebay and Paypal is Mozilla 1.2.1.
http://www.mozilla.org/releases/old-releases-1.1-1.4rc3.html (The newer version of Mozilla won't upload pics to Ebay when your selling something). The only problems I have found with this version is it quits for no reason or quits when you go to the "bookmark" menu. This doesn't always happen but when it does a restart of the Mac usually clears it up. If your interested I posted this question a while back on the 'fritter.
