I use that exact same Jump Drive with USB on my 3400. 
You need to install the USB update 1.4.1.  Only
problem is the installer won't work on a 3400 since it
isn't supposed to have USB.  What I did was install it
on a computer that did have usb and then just copy
them over the network.  It worked fine.

There are some hacks around the internet to use the
installer or pull the pieces out but it was much
easier just to copy it over.
