I have a dead battery on my Wallstreet. Before I replace it, I probalby should get some advice.
First: Though the battery is in the left bay, the control strip informs me in word caps and in italics that the Left Bay is Empty. Does this mean the bay is defective? Or just that the battery is no good? t P.S. Last week I purchased a BookEndZ dock for my Wallstreet, and tonight I set it up. Nifty. Not as nifty, I think, as my old Duo's E-Machines Dock, but still pretty neat. It's a pity, though, the dock was not designed with an integral power supply... I am going to have to buy a power supply for it, for convenience. P.P.S. On the issue of trackpads and trackballs, I probably like trackballs a little more than trackpads, at least if the ball is big enough. i do not use a mouse on any of my Macs. My main Mac at work has big ADB trackball; my secondary Macs use ADB ALPS Glidepoints, which is what I'm using here at home, too. One can usually find a Glidepoint trackpad available for under $10 on eBay. -- Signwave Finder Mail 0.5a - http://www.signwave.co.uk/ -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
