FWIW, I think the Kanga ought to be part of this list, but I'm torn on whether or not the Wallstreet should.

I'll buy that ... but consider that the issues with respect to Cardbus compatibility are pretty consistent across the 2400, 3400, 3500 (Kanga) and "G3 Series" (WS-I/WS-II)
That's just one piece of hardware they have in common. However, the Wallstreet through Pismo all use 3d-accelerated ATI graphics and PC100 SDRAM. There are plenty of hairs to split about what PowerBooks have what in common. But the easiest and most obvious is plain old case design. The "G-Books" (3500/Kanga excluded) all have a new curvy design language and a great big white Apple logo on the lid. I don't think CardBus compatibility is enough of an identifier to group the Wallstreet in with the 1st generation PCI PowerBooks. If it were, the 1st gen PCI PowerBooks really ought to be on a separate list so that we have an obvious distinction - NuBus PowerBooks only on this list! And I don't think anyone wants to see that...
Of course, there aren't enough models (or users) to support 4 lists (similar to how our desktop brethren are split) - 68k PowerBooks, 1st-PowerPC-PowerBooks, PCI-PowerBooks, and G-Books.
Peace, Drew
