Sounds like National Geographic to me. There is a whole channel devoted to NG, maybe just available on satellite. Actually, I know three guys around me who have dishes which pick up a German satellite network/station. The dish is pointed at the horizon and looks like it won't pick up anything but they seem to get it just fine. I'm in Toronto, btw.
