Hey there list members; I'm not new I've been reading this list for about 2-4
years and have been rewarded with help many times through the answers given,
so I haven't had to ask any questions. And since I am merely a user of
computers and not one to delve inside them, I've never had an answer to
contribute,
which is why I only read and heed. Anyway, hopefully someone on the list can
point me in the right direction to solve this problem. It has been ongoing for
sometime now. On my Powerbook 3400c/200 running OS 9.1 with 144mb of ram
whenever I try to get online via my home network {{ a PC running windows 2000,
a
linksys router either wireless or wired and a Beige G3}} I get the following
dialogue: {The attempt to Access URL=http:// etc.etc.etc/ failed}. My beige G3
has
no problem connecting to the network. This also happens whenever I try to
connect wirelessly as well. I've gone to my local coffee shop and connected
wirelessly so their is no problem with my wi-fi equipment. Also the other day
after
wiping my harddrive clean and reinstalling system software I got the
following dialogue when I tried to use the network browser it said {your system
software is not configured correctly so network browser couldn't work} Help
please I
want to solve this puzzle so that I can connect to the Internet. Thank you
any and all.
Brad
