Saw a post about a 3400 keyboard cable that staopped working. With repeated instertions, the connectors wear out.

Thought I'd like to share my standard fix for this. I was very happy when I discovered this ( on my 5th 3400 keyboard...)

Just snip off the last 1/2 mm (that's like 1/64 of an inch for the imperialists out there) of the cable with scissors. trim the corners a bit round too.

Then reinsert. Usually it works fine.

By trimming off the end, it goes in a tiny bit further, and you get new fresh metal making contact!!!
