Yeah, but if all you're doing is using it as a sneakernet, leave it in DOS format, much more convenient.


The original thread here dealt with making a CF card a bootable device, for which you have to reformat it in HFS; as a data transfer device, just leave it in DOS format so it can be read everywhere.
