I haven't seen this problem.

No problems at all with Panther and any of my WSs.

I have two WS Is (250 and 292) and about a half-dozen WS IIs (most are 
233, but I do have two 266s and one 300).

All except the WS I/250 are 14.1". All have the optional features: 
S-Video and 56K modem.


BTW: how do I ugrade the WS I/250 from K56 modem protocol to V.whatever? 
All my WSs except this one are V.whatever.
