The first Mac I ever owned was a Performa 475.....no, I don't have it anymore. Not only because I gave it away, but also I live in a one-bedroom apartment and only have room for the Macs I actually use and keep as backups "just in case" my main machines should somehow fail. If I ever buy another Mac (doubtful at this point: I love what I've got), I'll sell or give away one of my current spares (and use the machine I replaced as a new spare), but I just don't have room for a computer museum -- other than the usable ones that is...I guess it could be said though, in light of such things as G4 iBooks, Mac Minis and G5s, that what I use belongs in a museum, hahaha...I mean really: a G3/266 Beige DT as main desktop, a 7200/120 as its backup, then a PB 5300c as main laptop, with a PB 190 as its backup....not exactly what you'd call state of the art. LOL. Not that I mind or even care to remedy this (so long as they keep working wonderfully as they have been), but it's true. They're dinosaurs. But I did love that 475 when I was using it. If not for my ex-husband I'd have kept it for much longer than the year and a half or two years I was on it.
