Does it hold the time &
date after the main battery is removed?
Well, it didn't at first, but I reinstalled 8.1 (Gonna be 9.1 in a few
minutes...), it was plugged in for at least an hour, and this morning,
the time was right.
Leave the Powerbook plugged in in sleep mode for 24 hours.
The PRAM in the 3400 is rechargable. If not dead your
problem might vanish.
