I know many of you who are using older PowerBooks like me use iCab. I thought you might be interested to know that they finally have made the new 3.0 beta available to everyone.
I read about it yesterday on the iCab list and downloaded it. I'm using it on a PB 3400/200, 144 Megs of RAM, using a Enterasys (rebranded Orinoco) Wireless card to a Netgear wireless router/cable modem. It seems to be almost as fast as 2.98. I've noticed a bit of a lag on certain sites but not as much as I get using WaMCom Mozillla 1.3.1 but CSS works finally! YAY! Even on Low End Mac.... our mothership ;D Over all I'm pleased with the newest version of the only Classic web browser still being updated, heck I even sent in the registration fee. It looks like I won't need to keep Mozilla anymore.
