Well, my 520c has problems. First, it has what is likely a good
battery, but I'm not sure. It will charge and run off the battery,
but if I turn it off or put it to sleep it won't run or boot off it.
When plugged back in to AC power, it will register the battery as
dead and recharge it. Is this a problem with the 'book or battery?
Second, and perhaps related, my reserve battery is quite dead. It
forgets all the settings (time, etc) when it's shut down. Can this
cause problems like the one above? I don't care about accurate time
or anything, but I'd like to get the 'book to boot under battery
power if I can. Where can I buy a new reserve battery for this thing?
What should I look for?
