Subject: PwrBk 165c AC Input Problem

Hiya Frieds,

This little 165c I inherited works fine, except the input 'socket' where the AC adapter plugs in is somehow 'loose'. If one kind of props it up at a certain angle it maintains the connection and works fine. Is there a fix for this that
a user can attempt?

I'd hate to send this nice 165c to 'Parts Machine' heaven needlessly !

Paul

Exactly my problem with my PB 190 which I'm dusting off to take over for my toasty eMac on NYC's hot non-A/C days and blackouts. If I move my
PB 190 and just shift the power cable some the whole works goes out. I
can't even tell whether the battery's properly charging or not half the
time. So far Battery Amnesia's brought it up from 13 minutes to 67
minutes stored charge (original battery from 1996).
