not long ago i had to make a similar decision.

What did i want from the notebook ?

I wanted connectivity and the posibility to play AVI/Quicktimes
and DVD. Although i am happy with my Kanga i really missed DVD
and the graphics is to slow for a 640x480 AVI.

I do have a fast workstation in office, so the notebook is more
a private thing for fun. Thats why one dont want to spend too much
money.

If you take prices and performance the Pismo is the no. 1 powerpook out there.
The Titanums are not bad but just more expensive.

I think many people come to this conclusion and try to buy a Pismo.

Unfortunately the Pismos are now quite overpriced atm wich brought
me personally to a IBM Thinkpad T20. The T20 is really the same
league then the Pismo but at half of the price. I do miss the
Mac OS classic on it, but by profession i am used to FreeBSD
wich runs finde on this notebook. But thats an other story ;)
