As I recall, there wee a bunch of "novelty" inits one dropped in the extensions folder that did amusing things; unable to control mouse, started scanning like an old B&W TV (complete with snow), beeping, burping, brought up custom screens telling you your HD was deleting (complete with progress bar...)

Or the infamous 'Oscar the Grouch' trashcan mod. I know one person who lost almost everything on his hard drive, thanks to that init and a determined three year old.
