Hello, some of the PB170 had a internal modem. If you have one use this to receive your mails. Probably you can get one somewhere out there. If not i would say this is close to impossible.
With 7.0.1 you will hardly get the same mail client for PC and the Mac. I am not sure if System 7.0.1 can allready read DOS floppy disks. There is no PCMCIA slot for a memorycard (which would be a cool solution). If you would have an older desktop Mac you could build a serial network, but you have a PC. Use the modem or try to get one. You will be fine as long as nobody mails you a movie or lots of photo. > Okay, seeing that I'm still having trouble getting my PB170 to let me use > it for email, I was wondering if there is anyway that I could simply > transfer emails back and furth between my PC and my mac using either > floppies or stargate.
