If you can install it on an OS 9 machine, you might have a chance to
transfer the *installed* files to an OS 8.6 machine that you upgraded to the
latest downloadable version of CarbonLib (1.6?).
I don't recall the exact procedure and didn't try it with Mozilla, but I did
it with several other apps.
Unfortunately, several installers only check the OS version, while the only
thing they really need is the version of Carbon Lib that comes wiht OS 9
(which, if I recall it correctly, is even older than the one you can
download).
You can probably identify the appropriate extensions etc. for an app with
Conflict Catcher (maybe with Extensions Manager as well).
But Mozilla might use up much more RAM than iCab.
