What was the question??? something about Linux

Why would anyone own a non-Mac? Hmmmm that's a very good point.

I remember back in middle school we had Commodore 64's and Apple II's, then
somewhere along the line I acquired an IBM XT. It didn't even run Windoze,
DOS 5.0 if I remember correctly.

Now quickly fast forward some years and BINGO you can buy a Windoze machine
for under $400.00 with a decent 15 inch monitor. Last I checked the
cheapest Mini Mac after buying USB keyboard and mouse was well over the
"Budget PC"

But remember ... You get what you pay for..

At our break room in the world's #1 retailer the main reason other
associates gawk at my 1400 is because most of them have never seen or used a
Mac.

A while back I had heard a co-worker had bought his wife a Jaguar.

"So you bought your wife a new car...Jaguar?"

"NO!!! I bought her a new Mac..it runs Jaguar"

"Oh"

Then he proceeded to explain all that it does, how easy to use...etc etc
Of course he also mentions how much he paid for it $$$$$!!!!!

"Hey for that kind of money are you sure she can't drive it?"

with that he called me a typical Windoze user and the conversation ended.
