So now the question is: which other LCD fit exactly the display cable
of the 10.4" TFT for the POwerBook 5300ce?

Sounds like what happens when you get a mismatch between LCD and logic
board.
AFAIK an inverter board powers the backlight, it has nothing to do with
actually driving the display.
