Yes, you can with version 6 of the Orinoco driver, but you will have a much better PowerBook if you can upgrade to at least OS 8.6 and then use the v7.2 drivers. If you are short or ram, then i can understand your desire not to upgrade. How much ram do you have? What are the specs for your PB1400.
