I echo "OM's" recommendation that you should use an enclosure. SCSI
Disk Mode is interesting, but very slow. 10bT ethernet is probably
faster than SDM - just make sure you find one of those Focus
Enhancements 10baseT ethernet PDS cards to install internally in your
190.
On the other hand, you could track down one of those elusive
expansion bay hard disk carriers (which work in the 190, 5300, 3400c,
and Kanga G3), pull the 40GB out of the 190 and put it in the
carrier, and boot your 190 from the expansion bay. Then, when you
want to move your hard drive to it's USB or FireWire enclosure for
quick eMac backups, you don't have to tear down the 190 over and over
again...
