I've played music on both my 520c and the 5300c, but I had to get a
3rd-party software to get it to play properly. Never did get the Apple
software to work consistently.
Memory freeze--I can't remember the name of the package, but it had (I
know, little help here :) ) Tech in the title, and was around $70. Would
play CD and supposedly DVD's too, but I never tested that option.
