powerbook 540c ppc & pc card cage questions....

Hey all,
 
I recently bought a Powerbook 540c with NewerTech PPC upgrade (167mhz)
off eBay. I’m trying to locate a type PC card cage that’s compatible
(type C?) but with no luck. Anyone know where I should look? I’ve, of
course, tried eBay already.
 
I’m also interested in the Newertech upgrade; I’m not sure if it
requires drivers to run and I’d like to do a fresh install of OS 8.1.
Anybody have info on this?
