I had a similar device that connected to the LCII's SCSI port. I had to
choose "alternate ethernet" from both the AppleTalk and the TCP/IP control
panels to get anything to happen with it. Not sure if your device would
need the same setup, but it might be worth taking a look at. (and IIRC,
there was a setup disk from Asante that added this choice to the two
control panels.)
