While we are on the subject, does anyone know the trick in getting a Powerbook 5300 to use a li-ion battery from a Powerbook 3400c?
I had heard that a 5300 could use a 3400's battery (and I think I myself used to do it). I know I would not be able to recharge the 3400 battery with the 5300c, but I figured I could use it and recharge it elsewhere. My 5300c will not see the 3400c battery at all. I know it is charged and a good battery, as I used+charged it with my Kanga. Thanks, xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo Ivy F., AL "Roll Tide!"
