Hi,
My powerbook had a MAC OS 8.5.1, 1 Gb HD and 16 MB Ram (117 Mhz), i changed the HD to a 10 GB (All files were copied to CF, turned the startup disk to CF, the 1 Gb HD were changed to the 10 GB HD, started with CF - i made 3 partitions, 2 to linux 1 to MAC OS on the new 10 GB HD -and then copied all files from the CF to the new 10 GB HD, turned the startup disk again to 10 GB HD and that is all), but, when i tried to install the 8.6 upgrade the message "You must have 24 MB of ram" showed up. When i used to install windows, i could desactivate this option of the memory and HD space search (see install -h if you have to), but, how can i do to install the upgrade 8.6 on my powerbook 1400/117 with just 16 Mb RAM (And 3 GB on the new HD)?, i bought a 9.1 MAC OS CD that i want to install when it arrive to me.
Thanks,

Marcel.
