I, too run my main machine as a PB 540c...tricked out with a PPC processor, 
40mb ram, 6gig hard drive, wireless card, external CDRW, external 6x Panasonic 
Portable CD player, Quicktake 150, Portable Stylewriter, and Newton 130.  I 
joke with friends that I have the absolute best of 1997 technology.  

I am starting to debate upgrading, though.  I am eyeing a Wallstreet.  It would 
be nice to downsize the overall footprint size of stuff on my desk.  I would 
get rid of everything and get a Wallstreet with one of the rare CDRW internal 
drives...
