It's really great to be using my PB3400c again, after years of it doing little more than gather dust. I've now got it running on our home wi-fi network which is fab for those afternoons on the sofa ;-) But I now need a decent email client that will run on OS8.1. I need something that works with IMAP with TLS login. I've tried using Eudora 4.3 but that won't log in - I suspect
it's not TLS compatible.

I've not found any. Most pre-OSX clients support SSL login, but from what I've read you need SSH to do IMAP/TLS. Easy-peasy on OS X, not so in 8.1.

You can try Netscape 4.x, I can't remember if it supports TLS or not.

Also MailDrop <http://carl-bell-2.baylor.edu/~Carl_Bell/Mail_Drop/> may, again I can't remember.
