Hello all and thanks in advance for any tips/advice.
As a project in my retirement, I'm going to resuscitate my original iBook. After I replace the dead-as-a-doornail battery, I'd like to replace the hard drive. I realize it's a daunting task and have looked up the instructions many times, but "no guts: no glory" is my motto.
        Here are my questions:
Can any old 2.5 mm drive do?
ATA or IDE?
Is one brand better than another?
How much of an issue is disc speed?
