If anyone would like to subscribe to the Google version of this list
without signing up for a Google Account, or just so you can keep
getting your list email with the address you are using now, you can
join the group by sending an email to:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
This will allow you to subscribe outside of a Google account.

The group site <http://groups.google.com/group/powerbooks> doesn't
say a thing about being able to do this, and I didn't seen anything
on the LEM site about the PowerBooks list, either.
Why is it that Dan wants to move to Google Groups? Other than the
"ease" of use for him (and making things more complicated for us), is
there a reason? I can remember when he was running these lists off a
Mac in his basement, and I understood the costs and expenses
associated with that.
I don't understand the need to move to Google Groups. Has he posted
why he's moving all the lists go GG?
