Please see the brief job description below – Job Title: Data Warehouse Developer Location: San Ramon, CA Duration 6 months + Start Date: ASAP *WE ARE LOOKING FOR LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY !!!* Job Description: . 5 to 7 years experience developing and supporting a data warehouse system . Enhance/Configure/Maintain the data warehouse solution . Correct bugs, implement small enhancements or upgrade the existing application and the associated interfaces . Previous development experience with data warehouse development and maintenance . Previous methodology and experience in developing applications using the data warehouse as source system . Previous methodology and experience in developing local reporting using the data warehouse as source system . Knowledge of Client's data warehouse environments is a plus . Strong customer focus . Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines . Assist the team leader in developing a governance process to manage and maintain the data warehouse's integrity . Utilize ITIL (IT support best practices) change and configuration management process . Write functional/technical specifications and design test plans and test scripts . Analyze and integrate vendor released code fixes into the Client's data warehouse environment . Ensure the team meets Information Protection, Internal Audit and Sarbanes Oxley requirements around application changes . Maintain project libraries in Microsoft Visual Source Safe and control access to them . Work in a geographically dispersed team environment with developers, business analysts, customers, etc. .
