Description:
The incumbent will have a command of object-oriented methods and programming
in Java and C++. The incumbent is also required to have an extensive
background in developing real-time applications that utilize high
performance middleware such as IBM WebSphere and high availability
relational databases in a distributed network environment. In addition, the
incumbent must have exceptional oral and written communication skills for
collaborating with other development groups and project stakeholders.
Project assignments will include, but are not limited to, full lifecycle
application/system development ranging from design, coding and unit testing
to system integration and packaging, support of QA and Operations testing
and subsequent application deployment into Production.
Experience/Requirements:
Technical Requirements:
-Minimum of 5+ years object oriented application development -GUI
development, IBM WebSphere, JAVA, Database schema design, SQL+ -Proficiency
in C/C++, Standard Tool Library, Multi-threading -Strong background in
developing Linux based applications, Linux shell scripting -Working
knowledge of Oracle, Talarian, ClearCase
Pluses:
- Financial Industry knowledge/experience
- Perl, Oracle OCI
