Job Title : System Architect / Datwarehouse Architect (OLTP/OLAP, SQL) Location : Charlotte, NC Duration : 7+ months RESPONSIBILITIES: Job Requirements Experience: 9 Years Provide IT architect services for a series of projects involving a portfolio of financial applications by: •Participating in the development and review of the conceptual architecture and high level design of major projects and system enhancements across the full range of the Finance IT portfolio, assuring conformance to IT standards and fulfillment of requirements •Participating in the review of the detail design and construction for the above projects •Resolving technical issues across projects •Providing architecture review for proposed projects and enhancements to aid the governance process in decision making •Participating in the development and maintenance of Finance’s IT application architecture and data architecture information, providing conceptual models, strategies, and long term technical directions •Providing representation for the Finance organization on various Enterprise level architecture-related working teams Required Qualifications •Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline •2+ years of experience with the design of business application systems •2+ years of experience on large ( > 10,000 work hours) project teams using a formal methodology •3 years of experience in some IT solution delivery role •2+ year of experience with large systems (greater than 50,000 transactions per day or 500 GB of data) •Experience with the configuration and implementation of commercial off-the- shelf business applications packages •Excellent written and spoken English language communication skills, including the ability to document and communicate complex technical topics to both business and technical staff in person and via written communications •Demonstrated ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously Desired Qualifications •A graduate degree in Software Engineering or a related discipline •A demonstrated aptitude over 2+ years with the deep details of at least one of the following, and some direct experience with the others: •Networking and client/server applications •Web services •Messages bus •Databases / SQL (OLTP or OLAP) •ETL applications and warehousing •Data modeling •IT security •2+ years of experience as an IT architect for a series of projects or systems involving business applications •Experience with Financial applications •5 years of experience in some IT solution delivery role •Demonstrated experience and aptitude learning new technologies, researching, documenting, analyzing, and problem solving •Experience with any or all of: •Oracle 10g •Informatica PowerCenter •SQL Server, Reporting Services, BI suite •Business Objects •UML modeling •Peoplesoft Financials Thanks & Regards, Archana Global InfoTech Solutions || Your IT Solutions Partner || IT Training || Consulting || Tel 315-299-3444|| Fax 509-355-2910|| *arch...@globalinfotechinc.com*|| www.globalinfotechinc.com || USA || India || Awarded Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Company in USA in 2007 * * * * --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Powerbuilder Assignments" group.
