SQL Server Programmer with Camstar Experience Location: San Jose, CA Length: 1 year Rate: $OPEN Interview: Phone Job Roles / Responsibilities: Candidate will function in a global support (and possibly future implementation team) for an existing Camstar MES implementation across multiple manufacturing sites in North America and Asia. Candidate should be trained on Camstar software. Additionally candidate will provide support for other locally developed applications data bases, data collection programs linked to production line control systems. Will work with shop floor production engineers and analysts to optimize data bases, modify existing reporting queries and potentially enhance these applications. Candidate must be familiar with shop floor applications, complex manufacturing environments with a proven record of solid . Must Have Skills: • SQL server programming capabilities, SQL 2000 and SQL 2005 platforms • Visual Basic • MS ACCESS • .net technologies; create and update existing code (VB focus) • Data base optimization and performance tuning • Optimize data transfers between data bases and applications • Create tables and queries to report on historical data • Must be able to assimilate complex manufacturing processes in a high tech industry and translate into technical design, develop and implement design. • Good communication skills; must interact with IT, engineering and sales. • Act as primary interface between IT and Business process functions. • Provide strategic direction and support for process and systems improvement efforts related to shop floor activities. • Facilitate cross-functional teams in order to develop working solutions and cost saving strategies. • Proactive analysis of business process/functions to identify and sell improvement opportunities. • Participate in the design and delivery of change efforts resulting from feedback from other functions, internal and external customers/vendors. Additional Skill: • Camstar Object Modeling, • Camstar Open Adapter, • Camstar Semicon Suite • Camstar interface expertise • Knowledge of wafer fabrication manufacturing processes • J.D. Edwards manufacturing modules.
