Strong analytical and complex problem solving skills with experience as a
systems analyst for projects geared toward network operations and IT
security

Experience conducting difference analysis on IT infrastructure, documenting
strengths and weaknesses, cost/benefit analyses, and examination of
alternatives in going from “As Is” configuration toward the desired “To
Be” solution set.

Experience with manual or automated tools, processes, monitoring, analysis
and remediation to address IT security issues during incident detection,
reaction, containment and recovery phases.

Experience working with IT infrastructure components including proxy
server, edge router, firewall, and IDS / IPS. Skill in configuring,
deploying and monitoring security infrastructure devices

Excellent skills in requirements analysis, data assessment, documenting
results and presenting to different levels of stakeholders.

Experience in design and implementation of services, based upon effective
systems management disciplines, best operating practices, and leveraging key
technologies.

Experience working with a data center environment, physical consolidation of
many systems into one data center or network, virtual consolidation of
systems, and application migration and integration.

Experience with problem solving and troubleshooting. Operational knowledge
of networking, operating systems, internet, wireless and security
application support

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Experience with digital signature and encryption applications, including key
generation and extraction, key exchange, keyring operations, upload and
retrieval to and from global key server, digitally signing and or
encrypting ascii text or documents in various file formats.

Experience with workstation / network login, remote desktop control (RDC),
use of administrative share, use of SSL / SSH, telnet, ftp and SharePoint.
Strong
Experience using the full range of Office Suite applications to create
required documents in a word processor, spreadsheet, database or
presentation application(s).
Degree or Equivalent
BS in Computer Science or *related field*, or equivalent combination of
education and relevant experience required.
