The Software Developer will participate in the requirements gathering, design, development, packaging, and implementation of software. The Software Developer provides leadership in utilizing a defined software development methodology to develop software and in the most appropriate use of the available tools. The Software Developer may be the Lead Consultant on a project; Advanced Cognos development and scripting (Excellent SQL scripting skills required) is the primary skill set, although ASP development is a plus. Successful candidate will be familiar not just with advanced Cognos development and scripting, but with Cognos administration, security and configuration as well. Experience in the education industry is highly desired, but not required. Local candidates are preferred. Travel and expenses will not be covered.
