*Duration: 6 months* *Location: NJ* Our Client has an immediate need for *2 Java J2EE developers*. The candidates must have *1-3 years of experience* and be skilled at problem solving, unit-testing and debugging. Candidates must have an in-depth understanding of the Java programming language, experience using one or more web servers and Java EE application servers, experience with Javascript and XML technologies, knowledge of object-oriented design patterns and methodologies, understanding of classical and modern software development lifecycles and methods and be familiar with source code control and versioning concepts. Candidates must have the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts pictorially, orally or in writing, be able to learn business rules quickly by reading requirements, engaging in conversation, or reverse engineering. Other skills include knowledge of RDBMS systems and an understanding of data structures, data normalization, and query performance consideration, familiar with SQL (PL/SQL a plus), familiar with Linux, experience with open source software a plus and using with one or more Web 2.0 technologies (e.g, AJAX, Google Web Toolkit)and experience using one or more IDEs (e.g., Eclipse, NetBeans, JDeveloper). Some familiarity with Unix or Unix-like systems (e.g., Solaris, BSD Unix, UnixWare,AIX, HP-UX) is needed.
